Terms of service
Terms of service.
These terms apply to your use of the Ridge & Ledger website and the bookkeeping and recordkeeping services described on it. By requesting a quote or engaging Ridge & Ledger, you agree to these terms and to the specific written scope and service agreement provided to you before work begins.
Services
Ridge & Ledger provides bookkeeping and recordkeeping services, including transaction categorization, reconciliations, and organized records for your accountant. Ridge & Ledger is not a CPA firm and does not provide tax, assurance, controller, or CFO services. Published prices are starting points; final scope and price are confirmed in a written agreement after a records review.
Payment
Ridge & Ledger does not accept payment through the website. After you approve a written scope and service agreement, Ridge & Ledger sends a private Stripe-hosted invoice or subscription payment page in Canadian dollars. See the payment page for details.
Billing terms
Specific billing frequency, cancellation notice, refund conditions, and late-payment handling are set out in your individual written service agreement and may vary by client. Contact Ridge & Ledger with any questions about your agreement before accepting it.
See the Refund and cancellation policy for the Roadmap, cleanup, and monthly bookkeeping terms.
Confidentiality and records
Ridge & Ledger handles the financial records you provide only to perform the agreed bookkeeping services and does not sell or share your information with unrelated third parties.
Limitation of liability
Ridge & Ledger provides bookkeeping services on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not liable for decisions made by you, your accountant, or any other professional based on the records provided.
